| According to former West Jordan resident Mel Pugliese, there is a reason he now resides in sunny Arizona.
"I don't do well in temperatures below 65 degrees,"Jordan shoes he said.
So, as temperatures dipped into the 40s last weekend during the overnight and early morning hours of the Wasatch Back Relay, Pugliese began to question his sanity.
Coming from a 450 feet elevation in Arizona,MBT Chapa, he also struggled to find his breath in altitudes approaching 7,000 feet. What's more, Pugliese was just coming off an injury that had left him sidelined for most of June.
"I was just wondering why people say this is the mostAir jordan fun you can have running," he said. "It was just insane."
Still, he admits the race was "fun in a different way."
"[There was] enthusiasm, excitement and electricity in the air at the starting line," he said. "The scenery along the course, sharing the many hours with my teammates and just being able to take it all in -- it was just fascinating."
But for Pugliese,MBT shoe, the real value of the race came.
