And, he said, the recession is forcing managers to be more open to innovative ways to save money.
Recently, Clean Light Green Light helped a small supermarket in Auburn, Wash., make technological history. Marvel Food and Deli became the first newly built commercial building in the United States to use LEDs entirely for indoor and outdoor lighting.
Clear Light Green Light supplied the LED fixtures for the 16,000-square-foot store. McKinney boasts that the LEDs consume 70% less than Washington state's energy-efficiency requirement for new buildings.
"You have standard light levels that LED Tube Lighthave to be reached," he said. "At retail locations, lighting is everything. If it's bad lighting, people think it's a bad store."
