By midnight Thursday, the Ontario Mills mall was packed shoulder-to-shoulder with shoppers.

At one mall entrancecoach purses it took about 23 minutes for the people lined up outside to get in, Mills general manager Marc Smith said.

And it was no different at the Shoppes in Chino Hills, which gave out 200 gifts bag in a manner of minutes, said Glenn Miller, property manager and director of marketing at the mall.

ONTARIO - There was no sign coach pursesof the recession on Black Friday as thousands of shoppers in the Inland Empire waited in line for hours or camped out for days looking for door-busting sales from local retailers.
