The concept of choice has always been big in advertising, as Madison Avenue seeks to persuade consumers they have some say in what they buy.
For instance,MBT, Pepsi-Cola was once “The choice of a new generation.” For years, Procter & Gamble proclaimed that “Choosy moms choose Jif” peanut butter. And efforts by the MTV cable channel to encourage its young viewers to vote and take stands on important issues carry the theme “Choose or lose.”
Now,MBT shoe, the Rockport Company, a division of the global footwear giant Adidas,MBT shoes sale, is urging shoe shoppers to “Choose to walk.” In a campaign now getting under way for the Rockport spring line, the brand celebrates people who have chosen to live professional and personal lives that may step off the beaten path but are nonetheless fulfilling and rewarding.
